Lake Batllava

Lake Batllava sits between the towns of Orllan and Batllava, around 20km northeast of Pristina, Kosovo. It stretches along the Batllava River in the Llap basin, formed by a dam built near the town of Batllava in 1958.

The lake is roughly 6.7km long, with an average width of about 450 metres, covering a total area of around 3 square kilometres. It’s a popular local destination and known for its variety of fish — carp is the most common, alongside whitefish, bream, and chub. The lake takes its name from the river and town of Batllava.
