Pavlova Strana Viewpoint

Pavlova Strana Viewpoint is a genuine, famous viewpoint in Montenegro, located near Šinđon village, some distance from Podgorica towards Cetinje.

The Famous Bend

The viewpoint is known for its view over the horseshoe-shaped bend of the Crnojević River, curving around 270 degrees around a forested mountain outcrop, before the river continues its course towards Lake Skadar. This geological formation is known as an “incised meander,” resulting from the land gradually rising around a river course that originally wound across a flat plain.
