The archaeological site spans over 2,500 years of history, including the old city walls, the remains of a Roman theatre, and a Byzantine church.

Krujë Castle

Krujë sits north of Tirana, a peaceful, striking place with historic sites and scenic views. Its castle was the centre of the rebellion against the Ottoman Empire led by the Albanian hero Skanderbeg. Today it houses the National Skanderbeg Museum and a 15th-century church, alongside the remains of an old mosque.

Gjirokastër

A beautiful historic city in southern Albania, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era houses. Its castle ranks among the largest in the Balkans.

Himarë

A bilingual region in southern Albania, set between the mountains and the Ionian Sea as part of the Albanian Riviera, known for turquoise water, a striking coastline, and a charming old town. The surrounding mountains offer beautiful hiking trails, and the countryside is home to historic churches and monasteries.
