Luštica Peninsula

Luštica is a genuine coastal peninsula located at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor in southwestern Montenegro (not in the town of Rozaje as previously stated in error), separating the protected Bay of Tivat from the open waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Administrative Location

The peninsula is administratively divided between the municipalities of Herceg Novi and Tivat, measuring 13 kilometres long with an area of 47 square kilometres, and includes 35 kilometres of coastline – equivalent to 12% of Montenegro’s total coastline.

What Luštica Offers

The peninsula is known for its calm coves and less crowded beaches compared with the larger coastal towns, making it a favoured destination for those seeking relative calm close to the Bay of Kotor.
